This is the kind of cup I like to drink water out of. It holds enough that you won’t have to keep filling it up after a few gulps. It holds close to a pint. One of these in the morning gets me going.
You could also put any manner of other liquids in it, or paint brushes or whatever you wish.
It was fired in Dan Finch’s wood kiln (in Eastern North Carolina) for several days. Lined with a glaze inside but unglazed outside. The highly varied surface is due to the wood ash and flame moving through the kiln, and the fact that it was fired on its side.
