Barrel Mug

25.00

Inspired by a recent holiday to Belize, this pattern is my interpretation of the wild jungles we saw there. Vines and ferns rose high into the canopy of the gigantic trees, clinging on to anything, searching for that little window of light.

So that’s what I think of when I see this mug, but I hope maybe you might just like to drink beverages out of it.

Wood and salt fired in Lara O’Keefe’s kiln, Pittsboro, NC using local clay that I mix myself: the decoration was made by dipping the cup in a slip and then wiping it whilst still wet.
