Egg baker 2

$45.00
Sold Out

This is an egg baker that I saved from my time in North Carolina.

It was made in my shed studio in Chapel Hill and wood/salt fired at my friend Lara O’Keefe’s kiln. I really like the surface. Nice and salty. It has a golden shino glaze on the inside that came out very nicely.

Full disclosure: this has been living in my kitchen with me. I have used it to bake eggs in. It is still in perfect condition though. Maybe better even for the love and seasoning it has received in our house.

Oh and a note on baking eggs. I love baked eggs. They’re so good. You drizzle some olive oil in the baker, crack an egg in it, maybe add some salt and pepper, maybe a little grated cheese, maybe a splash of cream. Bake for 10 minutes. Deliciousness. Hands free eggy deliciousness.

Dimensions: Approximately 2” tall x 5” wide

My pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. I make them with stoneware clay and fire until they’re vitrified, around 2350°F.

I ship with USPS and UPS and send tracking information after sending each order.

I ship internationally; it’s no problem, but it may require a little extra postage. It’s hard to estimate as it changes from country to country. For these international orders, I will contact you if there is a discrepancy between what you pay and the actual cost.

Thanks! I promise I don’t email often. I should email more but frankly it just isn’t as fun as making pots or drinking tea.

Thank you!
