Apprentice pot: Hamish bottle 2 from Mark Hewitt's Pottery
This is a nice bottle that I saved from my time as an apprentice for Mark Hewitt in North Carolina.
It was fired in Mark’s large wood salt kiln for several days with mostly pine. The clay is Mark’s special blend of local North Carolina clays.
I love the salt glaze with the bright yellowish green ash. Really classic surface.
I made these so that you can use them if you like … using an old wine cork to close the contents inside.

Dimensions: Approximately 9” tall x 3” wide

My pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. I make them with stoneware clay and fire until they’re vitrified, around 2350°F.
I ship with USPS and UPS and send tracking information after sending each order.
I ship internationally; it’s no problem, but it may require a little extra postage. It’s hard to estimate as it changes from country to country. For these international orders, I will contact you if there is a discrepancy between what you pay and the actual cost.
